Jerky UI/Animations with new Core i7 CPU? Can't be! Appreciate any debugging help.

I've been using Sage for years now and recently got a new Dell PC with the latest Intel i7 920 processor (super speedy). As you can see from my PC specs below, I shouldn't have an ounce of slow speed while using Sage. I've been using it great on this new PC for a couple weeks but noticed as of a couple days ago the UI, animations, video playback, etc are quite jerky and not smooth. I checked my CPU usage and it barely hits 3-5% so I know that's not an issue. Playback on the HD200 and on another client works great so I'm not sure what's going on with the new PC.

Does anyone know where to start with debugging this? Here is some additional info.

Latest java version 6 u 11
PowerDVD 8
Latest AC3filter
Vista 32-bit using EVR mode in Sage 6.5.3 (latest beta)
Vista speedboost turned off

PS... see attached for logs when I start the server and client.
