A Firewire or USB2 hole on my Sky boxes so that I don't have to analogue capture!

Setup: - Server - Intel 3.4G D + XP, 2Gig ram, 3TB of raid. All running in service mode with 2 Hauppauge HVR4000 Running v7 with LMGestion's XMLTV and DG2XML. I also have the web server running.
Client - x2 plus PlaceShifter on various machines including eeepc Ubuntu 8.04. I am streaming Live TV to my PocketPC.
Stable but can use DVB-S on second HVR400.

I was lookin for more HDD space, and low and behold I got a Seagate 1TB drive. Didn't even have to buy it myself!!

I got 1 the day before Christmas. Of course I ordered it myself. Thought I had a drive going down on my SMB machine. Looks like it's fine now. guess I need to up my sig by about 1000GB.

Brent-

What 46-inch TV did you go with? I'm still going back and forth between the Samsung 650 (glossy) and 630 (semi-matte). My girlfriend has a strong preference for the 630, since she hates reflections, and I think that might end up being the deciding factor. We checked out both TVs again at Circuit City yesterday, and the reflections were pretty bad, even though it was in a not-too-bright corner.

Although, I've noticed Amazon's prices on the 630 have gone up by a considerable amount over the last 2 weeks. So, I'm going to wait a while and hope it comes back down to about $1400.

I picked up the LC-46SB54U which I picked up before Turkey day for less than $900 at Best Buy. It's a mid-to-low range LCD, but fit my budget and provides a very good picture - at least good enough for me.
