What Gadgets are you hoping to get for Christmas?

Just wondering what the others in the SageTV community are hoping to receive for Christmas this year. HDTV, HD200, new PC, monitor, wireless router, lump of coal???

I've already blown the big-ticket item budget on a new 46" HDTV for the Entertainment/Bar room. Not getting much else in the gadget area so wondering about the rest of you.

I've given up asking for gadgets as gifts since (a) I have the deep pockets in my family, and (b) only I know exactly which model/specs of gadget I want, so it's just easier to buy it myself.

That said, I've already got an HD200 waiting to be unboxed on Christmas morning.

I've already got the HD200 for myself and a Smart E Bear for my son. Amazon has them at a deep discount for anyone interested. Now all I need is for that new stimulus check to show up so I can pay off the credit card I charged everything on!!

Isn't that the worst part of this tech stuff? You never get surprised with gifts because others wouldn't know what to get.

Drive space would be nice, but looking at reviews these days I have no clue what to get in the 750-1000GB range. Not to mention some big $$$ gifts have almost eaten the budget this month.

Next best thing would be to convert a bunch of my DVDs to x264 I guess.

After sitting on my own lap and whispering in my own ear (insert perverted chuckles here), Santa is bringing me a new Panny Blu-ray player and an AMS eSATA 4-drive enclosure to expand my WHS storage

I would like a new mobo for my server. I've got the other parts for an upgrade, but I assumed the mobo had PCIe slots. Turns out only the graphic slot was PCIe, the expansion slots were PCI. Serves me right for not verifying before I ordered upgrade parts

I just want to get over this winter vomiting virus, its starting to get me down now.

That way I can spend christmas drinking and not care what I could/should have bought myself.

Why am I always the last to get these things. If I got it first I'd be over it by now!

Just got this receiver a week ago & I love it. I'm not an audiophile by any means, but I really like the sound.

And all HDMI connections = easy setup!
