java install error 1722

Hi,
still trying to track down my stability problems. When I try to install java on my current system, no matter if I use sage, java.com's dynamic install, or the redistributable file, I get an install error 1722. The solution on java's message boards was to install to a non-default directory, which seems to work, but makes me concerned about my installation...
any thoughts/ideas?
thanks

just wanted to update and thank anyone who's tried to help me with my stability issues, I finally disabled fast post in my bios, and discovered I have a faulty memory module. Thankfully, it's crucial memory, so they're shipping me a new one as we speak, great customer service!

Sage, Java, everything has installed without issue, I'm crossing my fingers that's my only problem.

You know I always used to think very highly of Crucial but they've since had to replace on stick (they were very helpful though) and I had another stick that just didn't play well with others. For now I use Corsair exclusively, it's been flawless.
