Sasem already released a USB device like you describe:
http://www.usbhdtv.com/ I don't really care if they ever release another HD card, their last attempt was dismal, and cards like the MyHD and AccessDTV are out now and are very nice cards. The ADTV even has support for viewing QAM (64 I think) but almost no one has had success with it. I'll be quite happy when Sage adds support for the ADTV or Fusion cards. |

Well if want REAL combo Tuner so it not HDTV but take look at any way Canopus MTV3000FX that close thing to dual tuner
I think that device will allow you ot use one at time stanger89. Just one small problem with Digital Cable QAM it may not work on all Cable system in tell one standard format. |

The USB HDTV doesn't have QAM according to Cliff Watson.
Actually his exact words went something like this "The USB-HDTV doesn't have QAM and you can take that to the bank." I think the big H is taking a step back to see how things are going to work out on the HDTV front. |

It's almost $600 and it's a pretty safe bet it doesn't work with SageTV.

Hauppauge QAM HDTV support
I spoke with a Hauppauge rep recently at a vendor fair who claims that they will soon have a product in the 1st quarter 2006 that would support QAM encoding. They wouldn't give me more details than that. Perhaps more people can email Haupauge to see if there is some truth to that...
