recordings are there but stop playing
I've had Sage installed for years, and always make sure I upgrade to the latest version. I rarely had any issues that I couldn't resolve myself until recently.
About a month ago I changed over to having Sage record all of my shows to a network drive. Now when show gets recorded, Sage will show that the entire show has been recorded, and the time, but when you go to play it.. even in Media Player, the show will only play for a few seconds or minutes, and you cannot rewind or forward or it will restart from the beginning automatically. The odd thing is it's very random, and doesn't happen to every show. But it happens enough that many shows can't be watched now. So I can't pinpoint what the problem could be. Again.. it never happened until I moved it to the network drive. Has anyone else experienced this? Thanks John |

What is the network speed? Could the drive be going bad? Have you run chldsk on it lately?

recordings are there but stop playing
The network drive is brand new. I even tried another one just to make sure but the same thing happens. It's on a Gigabit network so the speed is great too.
