DVD's on HD200

Should I be able to put a DVD into the server and play it from the HD200 just like I am able to on the server?

You would need to share the drive. It may not be possible until they get the smb shres working with user and password. Theoretically giving it guest account access may work. But if it is a commercial DVD it would need to be decrypted to have access to it.

So if you shared the drive on a guest account, then had a program decrypt the DVD on the fly server-side (AnyDVD) it should be able to play the DVD should it not?

In theory. I believe other people had it working with the HD100 and also a PC client.
