Multiple Tuners need seperate line-ups

hi all -

I'm stuck- I've got the following tuners:
happuage HD-PVR
Hauppage MCE-500
Silicon dust HDHR

All of which are connected to my cable... problem is
I can't seem to set up a separate line for each one since they are all
"broadstripe extended basic"

I read somewhere that you just pick the "copy existing line-up" choice... but I don't get a 'copy existing line-up" choice ... I get a "use existing line up" but that is a shared line-up and is no good.

software version: 6.4.8.184
java version: 1.6.0_07

How do I get each 'tuner' to have it's own copy of the lineup??

OK More details may help??

with the MCE-500 I get channels 2-99
with the HD-PVR I get channels 2-200 (and some HD stuff)
with the HDHR I get a smattering of channels (3 or 8) ... and I believe some of them are not even available via the cable tuner options.

Now I've seen several threads:
this one Use Existing Lineup question

Quote:
If the two tuners can't tune the same channels, then you need different lineups for each tuner to allow each tuner to tune different sets of channels. This can be done by selecting a different provider or choosing to copy a lineup when presented with that option.
I am not presented with that option as far as I can tell.

this topic:
Need to seperate program guides

states i should
Quote:
set this property for an option to copy the lineup to a separately configurable lineup the next time you choose it during source setup:

epg/force_ask_to_copy_lineup=true
I set this property ... where do I set this property? maybe I did it in the wrong place cuz I still don't get a copy lineup choice. all I have is a "use existing lineup"

I've also seen these threads:
http://forums.sagetv.com/forums/show...ht=copy+lineup
and
http://forums.sagetv.com/forums/show...ht=copy+lineup

but they don't seem to add anything for my problem.
or am I totally missing the boat??? at the very least I need to be able to have different channels enable / disabled per tuner. and for the HDHR I think I need to be able to add some channels??

The property to force the copy lineup question gets set in the properties file for whatever UI you are using. Appendix A of the PDF manual mentions what proeprties file are used for each client. However, the tuners you list all have different physical inputs, so you should see the option to copy a lienup, so I think you are looking for it in the wrong place, leading to...

Check around p. 155 of the PDF manual for a comment about where you shold be seeing the copy lineup option -- it is after you choose a provider for the source you are configuring, not on the first EPG options screen where you can choose to use an existing lineup.
