guide search categories
Hello I am wondering if sagetv has a similar funtion to wmc. In wmc if you click the guide button twice it gives a person different categories to search the guide by (for example movies, kids etc) does sagetv have this function. My kids and wife used this function a lot. Thanks for the info in advance

The Schedule Recordings menu has a Browse By Category option.
Also, the List of available customizations links to the hidden features, which has a bunch of customizable menus created by malore & there are series of program guides that can be configured to show the listings in many different ways. - Andy

Using the custom malore guide menus, you could configure a view to filter-in only kids categories, then group by channel, and sort by time... or whatever other options you want to group & sort by.
It won't display it in a grid format, but it will list what you want to see. - Andy
