bug in sleepmode slideshow?
I've just installed SageMC (6.3.8a) for the first time and I really like it a lot. However, I have noticed that the slideshow screensaver in sleepmode is lacking in comparison to the default SageTV interface.
First the bug I think I've found. I noticed when I manually put SageMC into sleepmode, the Sage Logo screensaver comes up instead of the slideshow that I have selected in the options for it. However, when SageMC enters sleep mode via a timeout, it correctly shows the slideshow.
Feature wise, on the default SageTV interface, the sleepmode slideshow moves the pictures around horizontally on my TV screen so as to not always have the same vertical black bars. Whereas SageMC does not do this which could cause burnin issues on some TVs.
Finally, I like the random picture selection (or not so random) a little better on the default Sage interface as well. Whereas SageMC seems completely random in its photo selection, the default SageTV interface seems to pick a random subfolder in the photo share and stays within it until the pictures are all randomly shown. This of course is just subjective on what someone might like better.
Thanks,
Tyler
