Channel Surfing
Channel surfing seems to be working rather well for me for the first time since I've gone all HiDef. OTA ATSC to OTA ATSC prev channel switches with the Haup 1800 and 2250 are as fast as they are on my DirecTV STB. OTA ATSC to HD PVR prev channel switches take a few secs to sinc on the HD PVR but work well. HD PVR to OTA ATSC prev channel switches are quick. HD PVR to HD PVR prev channel switches take a few secs to sinc in each direction.
I have not had one hangup yet. This is with the HD200 extender, SageTV 6.5.3 Beta on SageTV server and the new Haup 1.0.5.3 drivers w DD 5.1. I think it's the Sage products, not the Haup drivers. The 6.5.3 seems very stable. I'm also running the Sage MC 6.3.8 (not the 8a yet) on the extender and the server. Nice!
