Replace MVP with HD100
Now that I've received and installed the 200, I want to move the 100 into another room to replace an MVP. The MVP feeds the TV via S-video. The HD100 was configured for HDMI. The HD100 starts up then the TV loses all signal.

Is the HD100 reverting to HDMI output ? If so, how can I reconfigure the HD100 from HDMI to s-video ?

Why not connect it to the old TV with both cable type and reconfigure it there?

You should be able to do a config reset. I think hold home on the front of the HD100 when doing a hard power on, until the LEDs start blinking.

The printed manual that the extender came with points out, in multiple places including the Troubleshooting Guide, trying the Video Out button in this situation.

All is working as it should. Thanks for the assistance.

BTW, no problem seeing the red and green LEDs on this baby !

And, the pq is better, at least on the Samsung. Sorry to hear Sage has already run out. Hope more arrive in time for Christmas delivery.
