Wall Mount LCD - what about components?

I have a 37" LCD that is wall mounted and connected to a PC running SageTV Client. I am replacing it with a new HD200 and I have no table or stand near the TV.

What do people do with equipment when the TV is wall mounted?

I would like to use a small DVD player and the HD200, but want it to look nice and clean.

Are there brackets that mount to the LCD bracket to hold equipment?

Thanks
Dennis

Sanus Systems VMAVS Component Shelf Wall Mount
Silver or black

Aluminum flashing roofers use, just bend it to fit and drill it for the VESA mount. Sandwitch it between the mount the the display.

Put the DVD player at the server so all can use it.

If your asking for "nice and clean" then you must be something like me that hates cables and components out in the open.

If so, then there is no mount/bracket/shelf that will make you happy.

I would find a nice spot off to the side (closet would be nice) and fish longer cables to that spot (nicely behind the mounted TV).

Just my 2 pennies. (I have a nickle too, but you prolly don't want to hear that)

Dude you can probably velcro the new extender directly to the back of the display.

That would work, if you had a way to get the remote signal to the extedner behind the TV. But I doubt he would velcro an extender and a DVD player.

I think you guys will lbe pleasently surpised with the IR reception on the new units.

I installed an MVP like this in my fathers bathroom, no real problems but it had to sit towards the top angled forward which luckily the LCD allowed for.

I thought about mounting the extender behind it but was worried about the remote. Also the DVD needs to be somewhere.

I think I'll go look for some flashing and make something.

Thanks
