SageTV announces that the new SageTV STP-HD200 HD Theater is now available for purchase from SageTV. The HD Theater provides the features of the STX-HD100 along with many improvements including:

• The HD Theater's new stand-alone mode provides access to home video, music and photos in Full HD without requiring a PC or Mac. Stand-alone mode also provides access to online services such as YouTube, Google video, and other online video feeds, along with your local weather conditions and forecast.
  
  
• Use your favorite NAS or USB storage device as well as any PC or Mac as sources for media to be played on the HD Theater in stand-alone mode.
  
  
• A faster processor and more memory provide a faster responding user interface.
  
  
• When connected to a SageTV server, as an extender or in placeshifter mode, no license needs to be entered on the server. The STP-HD200 will automatically be recognized as a valid SageTV client. (Note: Automatic license detection requires SageTV version 6.5 or higher.)
  
  
• The HD Theater is smaller than the STX-HD100
  
  
• The price remains the same as the STX-HD100: $199.95 for the HD Theater alone, or $249.95 when bundled with a SageTV Media Center license for Windows.
