HD100 Freezing every night

I have 2 HD100's connected to my home network.

I have the PC that my SageTV server set to automatically reboot at 4am on a nightly basis (this helps a lot with TV recording).

Every single day, both HD100's need to have the switch on the back turned off and turned on without fail. It seems like they go into standby mode and never come out.

Is this normal behavior? We find it to be quite frustrating waiting the 5+ minutes for the machines to boot each day.

Is there a way to disable going into standby mode?

Is your sage server being used as the DHCP server for these extenders? I wonder if this could be a problem with DHCP leases?

Are you trying to leave the HD100's on all the time? If you power off the HD100 with the remote, you should not have any problems. You also should not have to use the power switch. Have you tried using the power off and back on with the remote? It has been months since I had to use the power switch on my HD100.

I believe the root cause of the problem is then when your server is rebooted, it closes the connection to the HD100. The HD100 then needs to be powered off and then back on to reconnect to the server. Why does your system needs to be rebooted on a daily basis?

I don't believe that is correct. I have rebooted my server on several occasions while the HD100 is on. It simply goes into standby and does it's full start up routine when turned on via the remote.
