Running dual motorola boxes on a single UIRT, one SD one HD

I have been interested in the HD-PVR and I currently run a 3 PVR system. Two of the PVR's are analog cable and the third one is a S-video hook up to a motorola digital cable box. I use a USB-uirt to control the box through sage and i would like to keep it for the HD motorola cable box.

Can I use the UIRT for two boxes?
Do the motorola boxes use the same IR codes?

Yes and I think so, however it doesn't matter the usbuirt can handle 3 discrete outputs. So you can control 3 if the exact same box if you choose.
