Troubles with MCE remote key remap and music playback

Hello all,

I'm new to sage, and I installed it to test before buying.

I picked up a mce remote at work, OEM one id 1039.
The remote was recognized under XP pro SP3 and within sage.

I had some trouble to get my media directories to import, I can not browse the network drives neither the smb... on the other comp, no trouble at all.

As I love music, I got a bunch of flac files I ripped from my LP and CDs, especially jazz and classical.

So I decided to play with the mediacenter and make it play a few files.

The trouble is that while I'm in the music section, if I press the skip/next button on the remote the ">>|", it's not the next song that is played, but the focus is moved to another category or album.
If I do the same while I'm in another screen, the music skips to the next track ( sometimes it just fast forward on the same track ).
I'd prefer to have the skip buttons to control the tracks better than moving through the menus, as the direction keys work fine for that.

I went to the configuration screen and tried to remap the keys, but if I try to show or to remap one key, nothing happens if I press |<< or >>| on the remote.

Is there a place in the config files where I can change this ?

That's a nice bunch of software.
I think I'd go with that but I'll try to finish the french translation because there are many parts not translated and the i18n fr seems to be a bit small compared to the other languages.

If it doesn't recognize the button press-you can't. Use EventGhost or LMRemote. Search the forum.

Thx, but in fact the remote works fine when I'm in the menus
I mean if I press previous, it's get back to the start of the title, for next, goes to the next title. ( sometimes it's erratic and does a fast rewinf or fast forward..)
When I'm in the music part looking at the albums the same buttons do the navigation.
This is what I'd like to remap
