Sage 6.5.1 requires .Net 3.5?

Hi,

after installing 6.5.1 I had the following problems:

- Picture wasn't scaled when switching aspect ratio
- GUI transparency was gone
- random spinning circle of death when fast forwarding

In the long-held and beloved tradition of not taking one step at a time a changed numerous thing. Now everything is fine again but I have no clue what fixed it

Last things I changed was to install .Net 3.5 and then reboot the system. I hadnt rebooted before.

Does anybody know if sage requires .Net 3.5 on Windows XP SP3 now? It also seems like the NVidia decoder doesnt work properly anymore.

thx

I didn't think it required .Net 3.5, but that version of .Net should give you EVR support in XP (should be in Vista by default) - at least thats what I've heard.

That was actually the reason I installed it. Hoping that it would fix my problems.

.NET 3.0 or above (current version is .NET 3.5) will give you EVR on Windows XP.
