Open a ticket with Sage support. Enable debug logging. They may want to see those logs. I'm running Vista 64 as a client and had no isseus with 7 or 8. Now with EVR it's even better.

Did the upgrade to Windows Vista and SageTV 6.5.1 beta. I am using the 6.4.8 demux and ArcSoft decoders with EVR. Perfect! That's all I can say. This was the best 3 hrs I have ever spent working on my HTPC.
