Getting fluttering noise when changing to a new channel on hd-pvr

Everytime I change to a new channel on the hd-pvr the channel will make this annoying fluttering noise for a couple of seconds then it will clear up.

What could be cousing this?

Thanks

I get a Click Pop sound when changing channels with the 5.1 audio which wasn't there with the stereo audio. I attribute it to the Haup device/drivers. I set a delay of playback for a few seconds to avoid hearing it.

On page 234 of the SageTV manual there is a reference to videoframe/time_to_start_into_tv_file_playback. The variable is in the sage properties file in the sagetv folder. I edited mine to videoframe/time_to_start_into_tv_file_playback=6000 but it could probably be set to 4000 (1000-1 second). There are other ways to do this if you search thru the forum.

Don't forget to exit sage/sage service before you do the edit. Save a copy of the properties file before you edit.

Start sage back up and it'll load the modified prop file.

I do not find this property in my sage properties file. Can I just add it?

I added it and i works fine. I set it for 4000=4seconds. Now will this jump 4sec ahead every time I stop and start show?

Thanks

I think it only applies to the first 4 secs at the beginning of the file. It does apply to every recording from every tuner.
