My Movies playback died

Not sure what happened, I go to My Movies, I can see all of the movies on my hard drive, but when I push play it just goes back to the Main MC screen. I then select My Movies, see all of my ripped movies, select a movie, push play and BAM, back to the main MC screen. I have installed Arcsoft TME for use with Blu-ray, but I'm not sure why that would have caused this problem.

Did you recently switch to running SageTV in service mode?
If so, you can not use mapped drives and if you use UNC paths you have to run the service as a password protected user that has network access permissions.

Or if you changed the path(s) to your movies and didn't refresh your media imports, then the entries listed in SageTV are no longer pointing to anything and you will get the behavior you describe.
To rescan your import folders, go into the video library and bring up the options menu when the left menu is focused. The refresh is the first item listed.

I have always run in service mode. I will try to reset my credentials, not sure what the official procedure is. I will also try to re-scan the import folder

There should be a service control app in the SageTV Start menu group. You can set the username and passord for the service to use there. Note that this setting is lost every time you upgrade SageTV, so you have to remember to manually re-enter the info.

Fixxed up and running again.
1st item was resetting credentials.
2nd item I had changed DVD settings to external program for some reason when I was messing around getting Arcsoft to run Blu-ray's.
All better now.
