I am thinking about using a laptop as a psuedo-Media extender.
What is the difference between a client license and placeshifter other than place shifter can be run on multiple devices? I am thinking about using a laptop as a psuedo-Media extender. I prefer placeshifter on the laptop because it works better over a wireless connection. If the connection is degraded you can force a lower bitrate to avoid stuttering.
