Sage Client and SendMessage Girder commands

I'm trying to setup sage client via girder so I can take advantage of myHTPC frontend and theatertek dvd on the machine in addition to sage. I've downloaded the SendMessage sage GML from the girder site, and it works great with the sage server machine. However, it does not work at all with the client. Both machines are fresh installs of winXP, and have min apps running on them. Is there any reason why sage client shouldn't respond to SendMessage just as sage itself does? Does anyone have sage client working with girder?
Oddly enough, i can't seem to get it to respond to girder at all. Even sending keyboard commands. myHTPC works great though using the myHTPC plugin.

THe client has a different class name for the process IIRC.

Go to one of your commands in Girder and click the target button. Drag the little bullseye type thing onto the SageTV window and release. Hopefully you'll see that at least one (and I think only one) of the enabled targetting properties changes. Whatever that value changes to, change the rest of your commands to that same target setting.

Hopefully that made sense.

Change the SageTV.exe to SageTVclient.exe in the target.

Ah ha! I was trying to change the target using the little drag target thingy... That does not work b/c it seems to set the wrong Name/Class Name/Child Class. You have to just manually type in SageTVClient.exe and leave the rest the same.

Thank worked for me too! Thanks for asking the question, and thanks for answering it.

I have just upgraded to Beta 2.0 and I swapped machines running software. The computer that had SageTV is now running Client and vice versa. I needed to make this change on that machine because I use Girder with Netremote to control Sage as well as components.

Thanks.
