Support for Fusion HDTV cards?
I know there is somewhat of a limited support with the accessDTV cards but will there also be support for the fusion card? It is a little more up to date as far as hardware goes but I don't believe it relies on hardware encoding.

I think Sage would be better served by going after the new ATI HD-wonder card. That product will see very wide distribution compared to the Fusion card.
Thanks, mike

I believe they are the same cards. Someone mentioned that in one of the AVS threads.

They are at the very least functionally equivalent and support for the other would probably be almost free once the other was supported.
Right now the biggest barier to HDTV in Sage is the SageTV Demux filter, there are a number of us that can play HDTV TS/TP files fine using Sasem OnAIR HD Editor or the Elecard Demux, but get bad studdering using the SageTV Demux. |
