Program guide disappears and spinning wheel of death

I'm currently attempting to use SageTV (v 6.4) as my frontend for DreamDVB using the network encoder plugin (mfury's @ dvbn). Things are progressing along quite nicely, however I still have a few problems:

1) Whenever I change channels quickly (for example switching channels more than once in a timeframe of a second or two before video actually appears) I'll get the little spinning wheel in the middle of the screen. Usually, the only resolution is to end the task and restart Sage. Before ending the task, I usually see SageTV taking up >300,000k in memory usage.

2) Sometimes the program guide info disappears. More specifically, when SageTV is using a lot (more than 250,000k) of memory space, the information in the program guide disappears. Where the channel # and show titles should be is instead one big black space. Only solution is the same solution for problem #1; restart Sage.

I've messed around with a few settings in both my sageclient.properties and sage.properties files:

videoframe/local_encoding_to_playback_delay=2000
videoframe/time_behind_live_to_disable_fast_forward=6000
videoframe/time_behind_live_to_disable_skip_forward=4000
seeker/fast_mux_switch=false
videoframe/safe_fast_file_switching=false

Does anyone have any suggestions on how I can eliminate the Sage spinning wheel problem or the disappearing program guide problem?

Contact SageTV tech support. If you can take a screen shot of it, post it as an attachment & include a link to that post when you contact support.

I most certainly will; I was just hoping to get a fast response from other users having perhaps the same or similar problems.

Anyone?
