So.. which IR.. Actisys or UIRT?

I use the USB-UIRT. For me this has worked out the best. I'm using mine with Girder so I'm not using the built-in ability that Sage has to use it. I have Girder doing much more than just controlling Sage.

I definitely reccomend the USB-UIRT. For just $10 more you get both a IR blaster and reciever. Check out this post for a more detailed reply to another user.

I use 1 uirt to control 2 dish boxes and my remote natively in Sage. No girder. I worked with actisys for a long time and finally gave up.
I second the recommedation for uirt. It works great! |
