Import/export does not work

Hi,

I'm using sagemc 6.3.7

When I try to export layout (export all)from my main htpc to a file, then try to import the file onto a placeshifter client (import all) nothing happens.

the layout file comes out to 8kb and has content....just doesn't change the look of the placeshifter client at all.....

You may be running a slightly out-of-date sagemc.jar file. Download the latest SageMC update. Install it and restart SageTV on your server. After you install it, the version should show up as v6.3.7a-fix.

hmm downloaded the latest update from here http://forums.sagetv.com/forums/down...do=file&id=139

when i start sage now it says to update the sagemc jar, that the one installed 6.3.7a is old...

have a link to download 6.3.7a-fix?

What version of SageMC does it say you are running in the Settings menu?

Also, that same error message pops up if your df_sageutils.jar file is out of date as well. You may have to grab that one from the latest full version download.

updated the other jar, still getting old sagemc.jar message


the good news is I was able to export/import the layout file successfully....just need to get rid of this old sagemc nag ...

Are you running any imports? If so, you are probably not running the latest STV the came in the download you just installed. Try loading SageMC_169.xml and if the error goes away, then reimport any plugins you use.
