64 bit Ubuntu install problem.
I just bought Sage. Imagine my disappointment when I find that synaptic will not install it because I have 64 bit Ubuntu Linux. I feel really foolish. I should have insisted upon a trial version. I used the trial version of the Windows Sage and I like it, but I have dumped Windows for Linux and I don't really want to go back.
If anybody can answer these I would really appreciate it: Can it really run in 64 bits without awful workaround and bugs? Can I get a refund? Is there a way to emulate a 32 bit environment to get it to work? What can I do? I really like Sage but I don't feel good about this problem. John. |
