Return to beginning of video?

Maybe a stupid question, but I can't seem to figure out how to get to the beginning of a video/recording when it is playing. For example, I was recording the debate tonight from 9pm-11pm....I got home at 10:15 and wanted to start the recording from 9pm, so I had to hold the rewind button until I got to the beginning, not very convenient at all. Anyone have a solution?

I can tihnk of a few possibilities, among which are:

There's a mutli-function stop plugin listed in the customizations sticky; I believe it has this as an option when you use Stop.

Use the REW2 command to rewind faster.

Use the Time Scroll command + REW2 + Time Scroll to jump all the way back to the beginning.

Another trick is mark it watched and then unwatched. If you have remote buttons set for this very quick and easy.

This is one of several dumb feature omissions from SageTV, that I miss from SnapStream which I used prior to Sage. I switched to Sage basically for the Media Extender support, but as far as basic PVR features, it's still lacking some really basic ones that SnapStream supported 5 years ago.

If you are running SageMC Restart is an option you have after hitting stop.

If you do Watch Now on the recording, rather than Watch Live TV, then playback starts at the beginning of the recording.
