hdhr ir remote support

I know that the HDHR has an ir receiver in it. Does anyone know how to enable it in SAGE? The SiliconDust forum has instructions for Ubuntu/LIRC, but nothing for SAGE.

As a fallback, any suggestions on a source for a used USB-UIRT? Been to flea-bay but no luck on a used unit.
