|
Fringe episodes showing as reruns
and for some reason even though I have set it to record 1st and reruns I almost missed the last episode. I had to manually set the recording. Any idea why on only the 3rd episode it would think reruns are scheduled?

I see from your other post that you are having EPG updating issues. I'm guessing that the channels are not mapped correctly and you are only getting some EPG info from the OTA broadcasts. I see no EPG issue for Fringe in the built-in EPG data that SageTV gets from Zap2it.
When you look at the detailed info screen for the Fringe airings, the ShowID should have an "EP" prefix, not "DT". - Andy

I will try to remap my EPG when I get home tonight and see if I have any luck. When I clicked on the remap button this a.m. I got scared and backed out. I'll have to look thru the manual to see what it has to say about the procedure.

Program guide is now updating, but missed both Bones and Fringe last night because they were listed at reruns. I have Series set to first run and reruns so I would have thought they would have been recorded. 4 HD tuners to catch ABC,CBS,NBC,Fox and I still missed my number 1 & 2 shows. Very frustrating. This is for HD Fox KPTM channel 42.1 out of Omaha, NE

What is the above-mentioned ShowID for the airings? They should still be in the EPG data for you to check.
