iceTV Timezones

Hi,

I just subscribed to iceTV for FTA epg for Sydney. I am using SageTV 6.4.8 and LmGestion's SageTVImporter.

Did anyone have to do anything with the timezones to make it line up ? ABC1 and SBS seem to be out by 10 hours but 9,7 & 10 seem to be fine.

Thanks in advance

I've just checked my settings - on the IceTV website I have selected

Timezone: GMT+10 Canberra, Melbourne, Sydney
Region: Sydney

This is important as it will set the timezone offset for the XML file.

In the Import utility I have set the timezone offset to 0 and unselected the daylight savings option. I've been using this for years and only had problems at the end of daylight savings this year because I don't think I had the MS hotfix installed for the extended daylight savings.

You can check if it's working correctly if you open the XML file in Internet Explorer and look at the programme start and end times.

Should all look like this, despite what channel the programme is on (timezone offset is at the end of the start/stop time string).

<programme start="20080922170000 +0000" stop="20080922173000 +0000"
