Request for remote control special key output, for actisys users

Hiya..

Apparently this problem can be solved by girder but girder doesn't support the actisys remote yet..

Basically i want to send an infrared key out of my actisys before then sending the channel numbers as normal (my digibox sometimes hard resets and only wakes on this button or the power button, without it i have recordings that are just blank) .. A simple way to have a special key added to the config when you set it up.. and then the ability to add this special button at the start (for me) and at the end of the channel numbers (for anyone else if it would be of use..

This would really save my life and would be quite simple to add hopefully.. with all the v2 stuff though i wonder if it can be looked at at the moment..

Not that this post would help you but it will help those who need to send a code after the channel numbers. I personally would like to see some flexibility added to the Sage IR routines by the Studio, if possible. I don't want to recreate Girder but there are a lot of simple things Sage could do with IR. It would only require a little more control of the IR recieve and transmit codes. Sort of like the macro or mode select features on universal learning remotes. This would solve your problem easily and open up whole new possibilites for Sage as a frontend app.
