WinTV-HD

Sorry I have not seen any posts on this card.

Hauppauge has a HI Def card and I was wondering if this is something that Sage will support in the future. It said it cannot decrept HI def but if it were to run through the decoder box first and then into the system like current setups it should work. Being that Sage has a good relation with Hauppauge what do you think the chances are.

my guess is not very good as the hauppauge wintv-hd has not been well received and I have only heard bad things about it relative to other cards on the market.

It was AFAIK the first HD card to market, and from everything I've read, the worst. I'm not even sure they make it any more or where to get it.

The card is a dog - stay away from it.

Thanks,
Mike
