Can Sagetv automatically sort EPG events into Categories
I used to have a Coolsat STB and one of it best feature was that it can automatically sort all EPG events into Categories such as "movies", "sport", "news", etc.. based on event id.
Thus allowing me to see all movies showing on dish network at the same times without flipping through channel one by one. Can Sagetv do this as well? I did not see that feature in the user manual. BTW, this is not the same thing as manually creating favorite channels. Thanks

Among other possibilities:
The Schedule Recordings menu has a Browse By Category option. One of the hidden features is a series of custom menus created by malore & those menus have lots of ways to group/sort TV recordings or airings. - Andy
