Getting the Hauppauge 34 button remote to work with ZSNES

I'm trying to get my setup so I can control everything with the remote. I checked out the threads on how to extend the Hauppauge remote, and I added the following to my Irremote.ini:

VOLUP={right}
VOLDOWN={left}
CHNLUP={up}
CHNLDOWN={down}
OK={enter}
GRNPOWER={ESCAPE}
SKIPREV={pgdn}
SKIPFWD={pgup}

I also added the ZSNES= in the [Applications] area. It looks like the only commands that it picks up on are the up/down commands. Nothing else works. I made sure that the actual title of the ZSNES program is ZSNES and it is so I'm pretty sure it's not a naming problem, and like I said the up/down works correctly. I also restarted the ir, and I'm running the most recent version from hauppauge.com I was curious if anyone else has had any luck getting this type of setup to work. Or if people have seen this type of behavior before.

I am having the same exact problem getting zsnes to respond to the hauppauge remote. I have the feeling that it is not capable of getting the focus since it seems to be an older dos based graphic program. That is just an opinion, and I am not a professional, so take it for what it's worth. Second, I tried to get snes9x to work through the menus of sage, and I was successful in controlling it with the hauppauge remote. The only problem I ran into there, is when snes9x is closed and sageTv reappears, there are parts of the screen that are blacked out that I can't see. I played with all the video options in snes9x, and I can't seem to figure it out.

Now I have resorted to using zsnes and just using the mouse when I am finished. Sorry I couldn't be more help.
