On the plus side, whatever I did, it's stopped a horrible stuttering problem I had with live tv meaning I could only watch recordings.

I'm using Digiguide and xmltv for my sky lineup.
Is uspect not as these 2 files don't exist in that folder, at least they didn't on my set up.

I now have it working. I just added a new channel in the channel editor, and put in the correct frequency numbers, and it worked

Anyone else trying to watch the football in HD and not getting anything? It was working the other day but today nothing! Just my luck to wait 3 days for a HD programme to come on and then it decides not to work

Edit: It appears to be effecting everyone, so its not a Sage issue. Still a pain in the bum though

It seems to have changed it's physical location. My ITV HD channel now shows what seems to be a music channel called 'V'
I've just tried manually typing in the physical location, and I'm getting the same.
Has anyone still got it working?

Yes mine was working a moment ago, well the ITV-HD test card was anyway.

On a different note, did anyone watch the channel last night and have any problems veiwing it? Mine worked but had an annoying stutter or pause every 20 seconds or so and that stutter would last maybe 5 - 10 seconds making it unwatchable.

Did you use the frq settings from post #10?

They're slightly different to the ones that were passed around a few weeks back.

Figured out what I'd done. I did a rescan because sky had moved some of my channels, and sage had removed the entry for ITV HD in the frq file.
Adding it again has sorted the problem

Digiguide now provides listings for ITV HD which is good news for those using Digiguide as their XMLTV source.

Digiguide doesn't give it a number however. This seems to be a problem for importing since the importer seems to require this. Anyone know a way around it?

Just right-click the channel icon in Digiguide, "Change Channel Details" and give it a number.

Finally saw my first ITV HD Program. Does anyone else get really bad stuttering? I thought maybe it was my PC, so I flicked straight over to BBC HD to try that, but that was running perectly. Has anyone else come across this? I'm using the Core AVC Pro codec

Please see my post above.
I've been waiting patiently and not touching anything on my setup for just over a week now to see if anyone else is having this problem and now I know I'm not alone. So I'm guessing its not our hardware and more of a software/setup problem and I think we'll have to send support a message and with a sample file. I'll leave it for a few more days as I dont have much time at the moment to sort out a sample.

Regards

Ben

I am suffering from a stuttering ITV HD picture also. The problem stops and starts every ten seconds or so and also stops when there is a graphic on the screen.(eg. If I press play) That said there is sod all on.

I've created a timed recording to get a couple of minutes of the football game on tomorrow. I'll send it off to sage support when it's recorded.

I'm guessing Radio Times have given up with ITV HD guide data.

Last week had a whole 3 programs showing.

This week it doesn't show any, not even the footy

Having just upgraded to the latest beta version 6.5.2, BBC HD now suffers from the same problem ITV HD has, serious stuttering and loss of audio.
Luxe HD seems to work fine.

Anyone else seeing this with beta 6.5.2?

Yes same here with 6.5.2. Horrible stuttering and taking ages to sync the picture (spinning circle hangs for about 30 seconds) For info BBC HD also now just shows a black screen on extender .. Have gone back to 6.4.8 for now

Same here but I've not upgraded! I applied the files for ITV HD to work and now BBC HD is very tempremental, sometimes it works but more often than not it sutters or I get no picture at all! Channel 4 HD and Luxe HD are fine.
