Sage TV video/sound choppy

I have a Sage HD Media extender and a Hauppauge HD PVR, but I think my problem is with the Sage TV software.

Everything was working fine yesterday, but now when I open Sage and view an HD channel on my PC (also on my TV) it starts out fine, but in 5 to 10 seconds the picture gets choppy and the sound skips. It stays choppy from that time on.

The HD channel looks fine with the ArcSoft Capture Module which confirms that the HD signal from the HD PVR is getting to the PC properly.

This started with Sage TV server version 6.4.5, but I installed 6.4.7 and problem is the same.

When I go to an analog channel (I have a Hauppauge 1600 card) the video and sound look fine.

I have a one year old HP Vista computer.

I would appreciate any suggestions to solve my problem.

Well it looks like my problem solved itself this morning. I rebooted the computer, the HD PVR and the Sage HD Media extender. Everything seems to be working fine. I am not sure why this problem occurred???
