Media folders are all messed up - help?
Ok at some point I think I did a bad thing and now I could use some help to fix it.
I have two recording directories: c:\videos\sage recordings and e:\pvr\sage recordings. I think at some point I entered these (or the parent directories) as media library folders. I have since deleted them and entered a new folder: f:\sage videos. The problem is that when I go look at my media library, I see it has three entries one for each of the folders c:\... e:\... and f:\.... Yet, when I go to configure the media folders, c:\ and e:\ are not listed as media folders, only f:\. How can I get rid of c:\ and e:\ from the list? Thanks Greg |

Since no-one seems to be answering your query, try reading this FAQ:
FAQ: How to move files, change recording dirs, etc. But I think you'll need to put in a Support Request with SageTV since this deals with a stuck 'drive path' problem and not a move/lost recordings issue. SageTV will give you instructions for any logs they may need. |

Any path that still has imported media will be listed in the folder view of the media browsers. Videos that are unknown in a recording directory are automatically imported & that's probably why you see them in the browser.

Thanks Opus. Are you saying that I need to go look through the videos in my recording directories to make sure that all the videos in there are actually in the library as well. If they are not, then I need to remove them so that Sage "lets go" of the media folder.
I will give that a try. Thanks for the info. Greg |
