List the manual recordings?

Is there an easy way to get the list of Manual/Timed recordings? While I could use Database.GetAiringsOnViewableChannelsAtTime and then filters out for IsManualRecord, that doesn't seem very efficient...

Seeing as how this is probably how they are stored in the database, if there WAS such a method that could return just the manual recordings, it would essentially do what you are already discussing (scan through the whole database, and return each entry with the manual flag set).

If you mean existing recordings, then the easiest way I could show you is to suggest you search for this line in the default STV:
"REM Just get all recordings & filter later."

You can change the 2nd filter it uses to only use IsManualRecord & that should get what you are looking for, in FileList.

EDIT: Nevermind I see this is something you wish to add in your pwn STV, I'll leave this for users who may be looking for a quick fix rather then custom creation. -

Enable unsupported extras and Malore's Menus for recordings.

This will allow you a 2 column view with multiple filtered pages, select any heading and the options icon. Then set the filtering however you like for that heading.

In my case I have:

New | Watched | HD | Archived | All

On my MVP clients each view filter removes HD content as my server cannot seem to stream HD to the MVPs well enough.

This is one great addon to Sage tht is located in the default install, just go to the information screen and type in 5309. After that you will notice many new options in Detailed Setup, one is recording style set to Malore (possibly default).
