adapter for Sony DSS DA15 connector

I'm having trouble finding an adapter to mate the Sony DSS receiver's wide band data port to my PC's 9 pin serial port. A trip to Compusa and hours of googling have proven fruitless. Any help will be appeciated. Thanks.

Did you look at this page? It has a wiring diagram for wideband and other DTV data ports. It lists both the wiring for the DTV port and the computer's serial port. I don't personally have an active DTV myself, but this should give you the info you're after.

Yes, I found that page googling. The link to the tivo store is dead, I checked the tivo site for a connector and came up empty.

I'm looking for the physical part. I could wangle something workable using the pin-out, but I'd prefer using the correct part if possible.

I just checked the Tivo site again, they are showing an adaptor. Either it wasn't there last time or, most likely, I missed it.

Have try checking your local RadioShack for a (DE9 to DA15)

Radio Shack was a bust. I've ordered an adapter from Tivo, once I've had a chance to check it out I'll post results.

The Tivo adapter works.
