Add 'Play CD' functionality to SageMC please !

It goes beyond words to understand the thinking of Sage to not include a 'Play CD' function... but enough people have moaned about it so I won't continue. And yes, I have logged a bug/feature request

To the awesome programmers of SageMC - is it possible to add this to SageMC ?

And where do I send my money if you do ??

Who do I have to *$%# to make this happen ?

Would this be possible to add to SageMC or would it need to happen at the SageTV core first? Regardless I'd like to see it as well.

There's an existing plugin that adds this functionality to the stock STV when running under Windows. So no, it shouldn't require any core changes. All it requires is for someone familiar with SageMC (which I am not) to port the UI. The underlying Java library should be usable by any STV.

Thanks Greg, yes, I appreciated your work on the core Sage UI to make CD's playable.

If we can just convince the SageMC guys to do a port to the new UI I would truly be in their debt.
