I am noticing the same thing. Removing the 1800 has no effect but the #2 digital tuner on the 2250 seems to be working and the #1 digital tuner is not.

Maybe you try getting another card just case that one is bad or call them and RMA it.

moonshnr,
Any luck getting this working? I'm getting the same error on either digital tuner of the 2250. I've tried the 7.6.1.27090 as well as the 27223 drivers and no dice. I'm using Sage 6.6.2 on a new install of Windows 7 x64. |

At least for me the board is fine. It worked before I put 7 on, and it works now after reverting to Vista.

Still no luck with mine. I had contacted Hauppauge support via email a week or two back and haven't heard anything out of them. I guess I will have to try rebuilding as windows XP just to see how it works for me there. I will post an update with what I find.

Me too!
I'm having the same issue with using more than one tuner as well. I'm going to try to use the compatability mode in windows 7 as the SageTV service would not run properly.
Installed WinTV 7 and it seems to think it only has one tuner as well! Also, uninstall Media Center especially if you're using the mce remote as it can lock your tuners and pops up at the most inconvenient times. Hope Hauppauge has a fix soon! |

Not Hauppauge's problem....
As it turns out I now have the wintv 7 application running recording two streams at once. So it's not Hauppauges problem after all.
However, now Sage will not tune or view any live TV at all, even after uninstalling the WinTV pvr front end and uninstalling and reinstalling Sage. Looks like it might be Sage after all... |

Also, I posted the following on another "help me get my damn 2250 working" thread: There are a few threads that help setting up the 2250. I personally have one and it is working perfectly. Try the tips here: http://forums.sagetv.com/forums/show...3&postcount=64

Error (-4,0x8007001f) problem here too...glad to see I'm not alone.
I've just set up a new HTPC with Sage and an HD200 as an extender, and am getting the Capture Error (-4,0x8007001f) only on tuner #1 - even as I set it up at picking the digital tuner stage. Tuner #2 has been working perfectly for a few days now, but program conflicts are getting old fast! Using the latest drivers for Sage and the 2250 and Win 7 64bit. Has anyone managed to find a fix for this issue? Is it a worth trying another 2250 on the chance it's a hardware problem? Is it maybe a 64bit issue? |

For me at least it's not a HW problem. Both tuners work fine in 7MC on the same box, I've put it in another 7 machine with the same problem, and both tuners work after reverting back to Vista.

I installed WinTV 7 and it only lists one tuner under devices. Interestingly I can watch/record one station on Sage, and another station on WinTV 7 simultaneously. Any ideas?
Might end up adding a 1600 for the other tuner until this gets sorted - hate spending the extra dosh for it though. |

Thanks for the tip re Win7 TV - it appears to record 2 channels simultaneously just fine, so that takes hardware out of the equation.
I'll try it with 32-bit Windows 7 like LehighBri when I get a chance - maybe I'll get lucky. |

Not sure if this will help others, but I was receiving the Error (-4,0x8007001f) when adding the second tuner as a source on my new Windows 7 Pro 64-Bit system using the latest Hauppauge drivers (22xxdrv_27323). I found this Microsoft article which suggested running AmCap. I downloaded a version from here. Once I ran the app, I used it to access both tuners and received errors, but when I went back to SageTV I was able to add the second tuner without the error. YMMV, but it's worked between reboots.

Assuming that it is permanently fixed, it appears to have been a Win 7 x64 issue as it worked for me and others in this thread on XP/Vista just fine. Even though it turned out to be drivers and not hardware, I never did get a response from Hauppage... |

I haven't had that error since I got the new drivers and played around with AmCap
