Upgrading my PVR

Ok, currently running Sage with a PVR250. It is in a small form factor case so no room for another tuner. Which USB tuner should I get?

Also, I have two of the motorola cable boxes and one is being controlled by sage with an actsys, should I get another one and use the other serial port on the machine to control the new cable box or is there a better option instead of using two actsys?

Thanks in advance for any input!

I vote for the one I have: the Hauppauge PVR-USB2. It is available as a bundle from the Sage Online Store; you could always ask if they can sell it alone if you don't need the software in the bundle. It is simple/fast to install & works great.

You have to have a USB2 port, since you can't use the higher recording rates on USB1.1.

Yeah, I agree and ordered one of those.

Now my only question that remains is how to control the 2nd cable box.
1.) Get another ActiSys IR-200L
2.) Another option someone wants to point out to me!
