Hauppauge HD-PVR now available in the SageTV store

The Hauppauge HD-PVR is now available in the SageTV store. There are 2 options:

Hauppauge HD-PVR and Remote

Hauppauge HD-PVR, Remote and SageTV Media Center for Windows Bundle.

I already ordered mine, so now you can go ahead & get 'em while the gettin's good.

And, yes, these are the revised versions with the internal fan.

Remember: You will need to use SageTV v6.4 or newer in order to use the HD-PVR in SageTV.

Just ordered mine! I didn't see any mention about the ArcSoft TotalMedia Extreme software; I assume this is included?

As far as I know, it would be the same box & contents mentioned on the Hauppauge site. I'll know more about that tomorrow.

As much as I would've liked to get the overnight UPS shipping, I opted for the $12.00 ground. I'm very excited to say the least!

SageTV + HD extender (ordered 2nd round) = $250
DishTV HD only package installed yesterday = $30/mo
HD-PVR ordered today = $250

Having an HD DVR that I own and can use with other providers with no monthly fees = Priceless

To answer a question from above: yes, just like I thought, they are in the regular Hauppauge box with all the software, etc.

I think this makes something like my 10th Haupauge remote, but you can never have enough spare remotes laying around, right?

They arrived quite hot from the UPS truck, so I'll let them cool down first... not that I have time to install them right now anyway.

Will these ship faster than directly from Hauppauge?

Does Hauppauge still have a wait for orders placed today?

Until they sell out, I'm fairly sure the ones from SageTV will ship within a couple days of the order.

And if you're new to SageTV, the bundle is a deal $30 off price.

I agree, purchase through SageTV to get it faster and you're supporting our favorite HTPC company as well.

This is why I bought one! Plus the blurb about "being the new one with fans" didn't hurt either.

Oh, I ordered it around midnight last night, ground UPS, and UPS says it'll be here Thursday. I'm in Ohio. YMMV

I received a tracking notice the same day I ordered (obviously my order was placed during business hours). I understand not wanting to overpromise delivery, but they certainly got mine out right away.

I'm curious: who sent that email? SageTV or UPS?

UPS emailed me the tracking number after the package was delivered. But, I didn't go through the normal ordering process, so I don't know what usually gets sent out by SageTV.

The tracking number was sent from UPS.

I also received an order confirmation from Sage, but I'm sure that was an automatic response and it didn't include the tracking number (because I'm sure there wasn't one at that point).

Got my order yesterday. Though I may not be able to hook it up anytime soon, I was sooo exicted (so was my 17month old but I think it had to do more about the shipping box and wanted to help daddy open it). So, started going through it and there is a BTV ad in it.

Wow, I bought this through SageTV of course was boxed by Hauppage but to have a competitor's ad in it *priceless*

I think the BeyondTV ad is a Hauppauge deal where the ad is in all of the boxes for a certain time. Funny thing since BeyondTV doesn't yet work with the HD-PVR very well.

and lets not forgets, BTV does not "officially" support HD PVR.
