Does SageTV support DisplayPort?

I was asked a question today that I don't honestly know the answer to. Hopefully someone on these forums can help me out with the answer:
Quote:
I'm running VMC on a Dell XPS420 and have a Dell 30" 3008WFP monitor that has HDMI, DVI-D, DisplayPort, etc. inputs.
Purpose of purchasing the Dell was for the scalar and the native resolution of 2560x1600, with the implicit idea that Blu-Ray and VMC HDTV would be scaled to 2560x1600.

Does SageTV support HDTV through the DisplayPort at resolutions higher than 1920x1080?
This person has been having trouble My main prefered mode of operation is to have HDTV in a window on my desktop while I work in Vista. Then later, when done working, go to full screen for HDTV and Blu-Ray movies.

Wouldn't the support of the DisplayPort be a function of the drivers of the video card that has the DispalyPort interface and not the application?

Thats what I would have thought. This guy has been having trouble getting Displayport working with VistaMC and is getting no help from anyone on it so he's wondering if it would work with SageTV.
