HDHR Direct QAM Tuning: 6.4.5 setup feedback thread

First of all, THANK YOU to SageTV and SiliconDust for working to give us a alternative to the dreaded MS-BDA 68-channel limited driver hassle!!!

Now that SageTV Direct QAM tuning of the HDHR is working with the 'beta' software I thought I'd start a feedback thread for user setup issues. These might be directed to SageTV, SiliconDust or helpful hints to other users.

Yea! It's working!!!

Issue: Logical Channel reassignments
When we use the 'Scan for Additional Channels' to create the required QAM.frq file and populate the 'Physical Channel', currently the 'Logical Channel' assignment is being changed, we'd like to have the Default Logical Channel Assignment left alone. Please?

Issue: mmc/encoders/-yournumber/dshow_tv_type=
When selecting "Cable/Antenna: Cable", this setting in sage.properties isn't always being set to QAM

Issue: 'Apply' deletes the QAM.frq and breaks tuning
After successfully getting everything working, if you return to the HDHR Setup application and click 'apply' that will *delete* the QAM.frq files necessary for tuning. If possible, could we have the SageTV 'Scan' do the delete and write new?

Issue: Your HDHR Setup application still shows the 'REMAP' column
If the HDHR Setup application can't detect a 6.4.5 version of SageTV then it won't create the correct files or driver changes. SiliconDust says you need to OPEN/CLOSE the new version of SageTV then open the HDHR Setup, the 'Remap' column should be replaced with 'Guide Number'. If users are having issue when upgrading, please post!

Issue: 'Scan for Additional Channels' doesn't pick up all the channels
Although it's possible to manually use the 'remap' feature and hand enter the Physical number required for tuning, it would be nice if this could be resolved.
