Question Audio Problem with New Release (SAP)

Here's a strange one. I am running the latest beta as well as the latest beta firmware on my extender. Tuned to the local baseball game on my extender and the audio is in Spanish (SAP). When I watch the same program on my Sage Client, the audio is in English. My tuner is HDHR. I don't see any settings on the extender to select a separate audio track.

What am I missing.

When you are watching the recording try hitting the Option button on your remote (or the command Alt-O) and see if you can choose a different audio from there.

Gerry:

On the extender, changing the audio from one track to another, still gives me only Spanish, which is track 2. However, on the client, I can easily move from track 1 to track 2, and vice versa, and the language changes. So the problem is limited to just the extender.

Recommend you file an official bug report to Sage to make sure they are aware of the issue.

Gerry

I just filed a bug report. I read through all the recent posts from users having difficulties with HDHR and 6.4.5, but saw no mention of the SAP issue I described.

I have found this to be a real problem - any comments on the audio being recorded on the second audio track (or sometimes, not on either 1st or 2nd tracks?

This means I can't reliably use a media player to play back the recordings...some work if I switch to track 2, some don't have audio at all - but they are all fine in the Sage Client or Extender...
