I'm a long time lurker on these forums and have just recently become a member. I have been using version 1.4.10 for about two months (the server with 3 clients) with no real problems except one. It seems that the SageTV executable on the server will suddenly consume 100% of the CPU and prevent anything else from working (like Girder). Since I use Girder to control Sage I can no longer control anything. Funny thing though, Sage is still working, i.e. the clock that Sage displays in the upper right-hand corner still works along with the little yellow bar on the guide that represents the time. If it's recording a show when this happens that recording will work just fine. Also, the clients still work fine and they all will show the little yellow conflict icon (the server does NOT show the icon) but I cannot resolve the conflicts from the client (i.e. when I go to the favorites manager in the client it will ask me whether I want to resolve conflicts now. When I answer yes, the dialog box disappears but the conflict resolution window does not appear). The only way I have been able to fix the problem is to kill the SageTV executable via Task Manager or reboot the computer. When Sage restarts, it immediately displays the conflicts which I resolve with no problems thereafter.
Has anyone else seen this behavior and if so, have you found a solution for it?
BTW, since the SageTV server is connected to my main TV, when this problems occurs it causes the SageTV WAF to go way down
