Question Time to do some upgrades - a few question

I've been running on Sage 5, with a Hauppage 150 and 250 for the better part of 3 years now. Recently I bit the bullet and upgraded my Comcast subscription to give me a few cable boxes around the house, to get the higher channels I was looking for.

After giving Comcast a trial run, I'm bringing Sage back to bear. I might as well upgrade a bit. What all am I going to need? I understand I'll need a USB-UIRT and some software (Girder?) - will I need 2 USB-UIRTs, one for each cable box, or will one be able to manage both set top boxes? I plan on stacking both comcast boxes next to the Sage computer, which will be plugged directly into the TV.

The only other thing I'd need is a Sage Media Extender for my spare TV, correct? If I get the wired one, all I need is to plug into the network and I'm good to go?

Will I need to upgrade my copy of 5 to 6? If it isn't required I might sit it out for a bit, but it would be rather nice to be fully on the ball with software as well, I suppose. Trying to justifty the couple of hundred dollars in upgrades I'm about to shell out to get this to work.

One USB-UIRT can be used to control multiple STBs & SageTV can use the USB-UIRT directly. See this sticky for links:
Information Resources for Remotes, Receivers, and IR Blasters

If you plan to use an HD100 extender, you will need to upgrade to SageTV version 6.

I'm still SD so I should be good. Sounds like I just need a USB-UIRT and a new remote to replace the old Hauppage one and I'll be good to start with. Excellent!
